Ministry Opportunities:
An army of volunteers carries out the ministry of RiverTree Christian Church. They are organized into several ministry teams. If you are in need of assistance or would like to volunteer to assist with a ministry team, please contact Matt Bycroft or the point person for that area.
Audio/Visual: Set up and running of sound system and video presentations for all services. Requires some training. Point person: Adam Shoate
Care: Reaches out to those who are hurting with encouragement and prayer. Helps meet physical needs.
Children's Ministry: Plan, lead, teach kids classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for H2O. Point person: Jenn Bycroft
Cleaning: Makes sure the building is clean each week. Weekly cleaning is done in pairs. Point person: Ruby Lewis
Decoration: Maintains welcoming atmosphere by changing building decorations with seasons.
Finance: Develops financial reports, initiates stewardship programs. coordinates budget. Point person: Mike Ford
Grounds: Maintain and upkeep on church grounds and parking lot. Mowing, snow removal, and general cleanup. Plans work days. Point person: David Hawn
Hospitality: Oversees funeral dinners, potlucks, and other food related events; maintains kitchen supplies. Point person: Lara Stevens
Missions: Oversees missionary support, communicates with missionaries, and keeps congregation informed of mission needs.
Nursery: Serving in the nursery during worship service time, caring for the babies. Point person: Jen Tarter.
Outreach: Follows up on guests who have attended our services and those who have not attended. Winter meeting schedule: 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at RiverTree. Point person: Rick Vink
Prayer Team: Lifts up those going through physical, emotional, and spiritual issues through prayer.
Welcome: Responsible for providing a warm welcome of guests of our services and helping collect guest information for follow up.
Worship: Helps plan, lead, and direct worship services and special services through song and musical instruments. Point person: Rick Bevard
